Distilled in 2010 on Hampden Estate's traditional double retort pot still and bottled in 2016 after six years of full tropical maturation, this expression captures the unmistakable character that has made Hampden one of Jamaica's most revered rum distilleries.

Matured entirely in Jamaica, where the angel's share exceeded 40%, this rum delivers remarkable concentration and complexity despite its relatively young age. Bottled at its natural barrel proof of 68.5% without added sugar or chill filtration, it offers an authentic and uncompromising presentation of Hampden's distinctive spirit.

The HLCF marque, with an ester level of 550 gr/hlAA, sits in the heart of Hampden's famous ester range, balancing vibrant tropical fruit, overripe banana, pineapple, citrus peel and solvent-like funk with layers of spice, olive brine and earthy complexity. As one of the earliest official Habitation Velier Hampden bottlings, it helped introduce enthusiasts around the world to the extraordinary diversity of Jamaican rum.
