Glen Moray 2011-2026 | 14 Year Old Infrequent Flyers Single Cask 2351
Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: The Alistair Walker Whisky Company 70cl / 56.9%
A single cask Glen Moray single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 2011 and bottled in April 2026 by Alistair Walker Whisky Co. for Batch 21 of his Infrequent Flyers series. Matured for 14 years in a ruby port half pipe (cask #2351), this limited release was finished for almost seven years before being bottled at its natural cask strength of 56.9% ABV. Just 322 bottles were produced, without added colour or chill filtration.
This extended ruby port cask finish has had a significant influence on the whisky, adding both richness and depth to Glen Moray's elegant Speyside spirit. Expect layers of ripe stone fruits, blood orange and dark berries alongside rich honey, muscovado sugar and dried figs, complemented by dark chocolate, roasted nuts and warming oak spice. The lengthy maturation in active port wood should result in a full-bodied, dessert-like whisky, while still allowing Glen Moray's fruity distillery character to shine through.
Batch 21 of the Infrequent Flyers range was bottled in April 2026 and comprises seven individual single casks (AWW releases #186–192), each selected by Alistair Walker to showcase distinctive spirit and unusual cask maturation. As with all Infrequent Flyers releases, this whisky is bottled at natural cask strength, without chill filtration or added colouring, ensuring maximum character and authenticity.
