An wee 20cl 2000s presentation of Balvenie's flagship DoubleWood 12 Year Old, complete with a branded Balvenie whisky tumbler. This gift set showcases one of Scotland's most influential modern single malts, bottled at 40% ABV and presented in the distillery's distinctive cream cylindrical tube.
Originally introduced by legendary Malt Master David Stewart MBE in 1993, DoubleWood pioneered the now-famous two-cask maturation process. The whisky spends the majority of its maturation in traditional American oak ex-bourbon casks before being transferred to European oak Oloroso sherry casks for a final period of secondary maturation. This finishing stage adds layers of dried fruit, spice and richness while preserving Balvenie's signature honeyed Speyside character.
