An excellent single cask Aultmore released by independent bottler Dewar Rattray as part of their highly regarded Cask Collection series. Distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2007 after 16 years of maturation, this Speyside single malt was drawn from single cask #3626 and bottled at its natural cask strength of 57.9% ABV without chill filtration.

Aultmore has long been one of Speyside's quieter distilleries, with much of its production traditionally destined for blending. Independent bottlings such as this offer a rare opportunity to experience the distillery's character in its purest form. Matured in a sherry cask, this expression displays a rich mahogany colour and promises a classic combination of dried fruits, dark chocolate, polished oak and warming spice, balanced by Aultmore's trademark malty elegance.

Dewar Rattray's early Cask Collection releases quickly earned a reputation for selecting high-quality individual casks and presenting them with minimal intervention, allowing the whisky's natural character to shine through.
