Auchentoshan 2013-2026 | 13 Year Old The Monuments Of Scotland St Andrews Cathedral
Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Signatory Vintage 70cl / 50.8%
A small batch Auchentoshan single malt Scotch whisky, distilled on 16th April 2013 and bottled in April 2026 by Signatory Vintage as part of The Monuments of Scotland collection. Matured for 13 years, this release was finished in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts and bottled at a natural 50.8% ABV. Drawn from casks #1, #2, #3 and #5, bottled without chill filtration or added colour, and presented in Signatory Vintage's distinctive Ibisco decanter, it combines Auchentoshan's elegant, triple-distilled Lowland spirit with the rich fruit, nutty complexity and warming spice imparted by the sherry cask finish.
Part of Signatory Vintage's Monuments of Scotland collection, this series celebrates some of Scotland's most iconic historic landmarks, with each release featuring artwork inspired by a monument of national significance.
This bottling depicts St Andrews Cathedral, once the largest church in Scotland and the medieval headquarters of the Scottish Catholic Church. Founded in the 12th century and largely completed by the early 14th century, the cathedral stood as the country's most important religious centre for centuries before falling into ruin following the Scottish Reformation in 1560. Today, its dramatic remains dominate the skyline of St Andrews and are regarded as one of Scotland's most significant medieval monuments, attracting visitors from around the world.
